Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common mental disorders affecting children. ADHD also affects many adults. Symptoms of ADHD include inattention (not being able to keep focus), hyperactivity (excess movement that is not fitting to the setting) and impulsivity (hasty acts that occur in the moment without thought).

Apps Recommended for kids with ADD/ADHD
Apps available in the Apple App Store & Android Play Store.
Audible
Reading is an important part of school but for some ADHD students it can be a stressful experience.

Audible allows students to listen to stories on their devices (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) whenever they want, wherever they are.
MindNode
It’s not always easy for students with ADHD to remain focused and organized, but using mind maps can help. It makes tasks more visual. MindMode is an app that uses mind maps to help students better visualize their thoughts. It can help them to connect ideas and rearrange points for a writing piece, and stay more organized. The maps can also be color-coded and even contain pictures.
iReward Chart
Students with ADHD respond much better to rewards for good behavior rather than punishment for bad behavior. With the iReward Chart parents and teachers can monitor a student’s behavior on the app and then reward them with stars - and real-life rewards - when they achieve a task.
Sloth
Students with ADD/ADHD often lack time management skills. Sloth is a task manager that allows you to add tasks and the time you to be finished within.
